11.30am in Japanese (Story Telling Group, The Japanese Association, Singapore)
Moomin and the Moonlight Adventure: Moomintroll was excited – he, Snorkmaiden, Little My, Moominpappa and Moominmamma were all going to sail to Lonely Island to look for treasure! Would they ever be able to find any treasure just by the light of the moon?
12.30pm in English (Mrs. Paula Parviainen, Ambassador of Finland)
The book about Moomin, Mymble and little My: Find out what happens to Moomintroll as he travels through the woods to get home with milk for Moominmamma. Will Moomin make it home safe and sound?
1.30pm in Chinese (Ms Mao Yashan, Director of Planning, Xinhuanet Singapore)
Stamp Mystery: Clever couple Moomintroll and Sniff have two mystery incidents to solve, all seemingly connected to Hemulen's valuable stamp collection.
11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm: Meet and greet a real Moomin at the storytelling stage.
Do Moomin coloring and watch Moomin animations between the storytelling sessions. You can also participate in lucky draws and have a chance to win Moomin themed prizes.
Moomin and the Northern Lights Exhibition
May 27th - June 16th: Moomin and Finland themed exhibition is held at the Central Public Library. Exhibition includes original drawings from the movie Moomins on the Riviera, and photos of the Northern lights by Finnish nature photographer Martti Rikkonen.
