It is a Finnish tradition to celebrate May 1st with picnics. In Finland, this is the time of the year when the weather gets nicer and people look forward to sitting outside in good company with yummy food. The theme of this year’s events is ‘Together’, so we want Singaporeans and of course other nationalities alike to join us. It will be another step towards building bridges between our nations and, who knows, plan for a picnic together next year?
Organisers: Finnish Supplementary School, Embassy of Finland, SuomiFinland100 Singapore and Fas, the Finnish Association in Singapore.
